At St Wilfrid's, catering is supplied by our in-house kitchen, The Wedge, which offers a varied menu to cater to all tastes. It provides the right balance between good quality, healthy food and value for money including a two-course lunch meal at £2.75 or  £3.00 with a bottle of plain water.  

Our current menu works on a 3-week cycle.  All chicken and beef dishes are halal (main meals only). Nut Allergies - canteen meals may contain nuts.

The school is cashless and uses the My Child At School (MCAS) payment system.

A wide range of food is served in the Dining Hall from Monday to Friday as follows:

Breakfast: 08:30 to 09:00

The Wedge offers a daily choice of warm bacon rolls, cheesy wrap, bacon, cheese & beans wrap and ham and cheese slice.   Additionally there are daily options, please see menu on the right-hand side for more information.

Breaktimes Mon & Tues 11:00-11:30 & 13:10-13:40 Weds to Friday 11:10-11:40 & 13:15-13:45

The options include a hot meal of the day (meat and vegetarian options), hot snack of the day, jacket potatoes, pasta pots, paninis,  sandwiches, wraps, cakes and fresh fruit. Please see the menu on the right-hand side for more information.

To accommodate students attending lunchtime activities and alleviate queues in the Dining Hall, a very popular Food Shack is available in the outside courtyard, providing a varied choice of hot and cold snacks and drinks.

A range of drinks are available at both outlets, including water, fruit juices, flavoured waters, flavoured milk and fruit cans.  All drinks are school compliant with controlled sugar and additives.
