On Monday St Wilfrid’s travelled to Lewes to play a cup game at The Priory.  The team started well with Michael scoring in the first few minutes before Charles gave away a penalty allowing Priory to come back into the game. For the rest of the first half the team struggled to handle the speed and creativity of The Priory’s attacks and they quickly went 3-1 up with a fine free kick included within the goals.

The second half could have seen the game finish in double figures for both teams but wasted opportunities and fantastic blocks and saves from Joshua in goal kept the score line down. Maxwell pulled a goal back but the team couldn’t get back into the game.  Final score 6-2 to The Priory.
