St Wilfrid's Catholic School

The House System is based around five houses that are all linked to Religious Orders which are located in Sussex (see information below on each House). The House system is vertical incorporating one form per year for each House.  Each house raises money for a chosen charity by running a charity week – each house’s chosen charity is detailed below:

Augustine:  The Sisters of St. Augustine, Burgess Hill, West Sussex.  (www.osanet.org) Charity: Crawley Open House.  For more information about St Augustine please click here.

Francis:  The Franciscan Friars, Rye, East Sussex. The Franciscan Missionary Sisters,  Littlehampton.   (www.ofm.org)  Chosen Charity:  Chesnut Tree House.  For more information about St Francis, please click here.

Each House is made up of one form from each year group and is identified as below:

• The first letter identifies the surname of the form tutor.
• The second letter identifies the house.
• E.g. Mr Nelson’s Year 7 form in Dominic: 7ND

ACE points (KS3) and Contacts Home (KS3, 4 and 5) are converted into House Points.  These are just two of the ways in which students can contribute to their onging house points total.
