Horizons

Horizons is along the lines of The Pound Club. The scheme is a simple way of helping our cause in a substantial way. By paying £6.00 monthly (of which £5.40 can be gift aided) your donation will provide our fund with £79.88 per annum. If you do not gift aid, you will still donate £63.90.

The prize draws are held during lower school assembly on Thursday mornings and the dates of the draws can be found in the Horizons booklet or on the school website. In addition, for every family that joins Horizons, 50 House Points will be awarded to their student’s School House. For further information on Horizons please contact Diane Edwards on 01293 421421 or email horizons@stwilfrids.com.

It is never too late to join!

Recycle Your Mobile Phone

Have you recently got a new mobile phone?  If so what will you do with your old phone?  Why not give it to St Wilfrid’s Mobile Recycling Project and help fund the new school Chapel and Partnership Learning Centre.  Apart from obviously raising money for the Chapel and PLC you will also be doing your bit for the environment - there is no environmentally safer way to trade in your old mobile.

All you need to do is send in your phone with a consent form (which is available to download from the school website) or letter giving permission for the phone to be donated to the school, and, if applicable, each phone that is sent in will generate 25 House Points towards your child’s School House so please make sure your name is on the form!

Remember the phone does not need to be in working order!  Please send in your phone's to Mrs Gildea at St Wilfrid's School.

Buy A Brick

Why not buy a brick and help build our new school Chapel and Partnership Learning Centre?

We would like to offer parents, students, parishioners and local businesses the opportunity to buy a brick to help fund the building of our new school chapel and Partnership Learning Centre (PLC).  You can buy as many bricks as you like and your names will be included in a Benefactors Book to be displayed in the reception of the new school.  If you would like to buy a brick then please complete the Buy A Brick Form which is available to download from the school website and return it to Mrs Gildea at St Wilfrid's School..

Help us Build our Future!

Gift Chart

We realise that few people are in a position simply to donate a large amount, but it is possible to make a very substantial gift indeed, through a 5-year covenant that would require much more realistic monthly payments.

St Wilfrid’s Catholic School is asking all its friends to support the School Chapel and PLC Appeal according to their means – donation amounts remain confidential to the Fundraising Department. The names of donors will be recorded in a Book of Benefaction and in the Fundraising Department's progress reports and Newsletters.

Please contact Mrs Gildea on 01293 421421 ext 247 or s.gildea@stwilfrids.com for further information.
