Fairtrade Wine Tasting Evening

 

St Wilfrid’s is currently bidding to become a Fairtrade School and the students and staff of the Fairtrade Steering Group have been working very hard to achieve the Five Goals set by the Fairtrade Foundation in order for our school to qualify for Fairtrade status. 

One of the Goals asks that we put on an event for the community to promote knowledge of Fairtrade products.  We are therefore pleased to be able to invite you to a Fairtrade Wine Tasting Evening at St Wilfrid’s on Wednesday 15th July from 6pm-8pm where you will be able to sample a number of white and red Fairtrade wines available locally.  There will be cheese and biscuits in the break and a Fairtrade Stall selling a wide range of other quality Fairtrade goods.  A quiz to test your wine knowledge with prizes will also form part of the evening.

Tickets cost £10 per person and are available from Ms Holly Myers, Business & Community Manager. 

Please fill in the slip attached here and return to the school Reception with your money/cheque.  Tickets are only available in advance and not on the door, so please book in advance to avoid disappointment.
