Our Under 12’s football team made it back to back wins on Tuesday after beating Hazelwick 4-1.

St Wilfrid’s began the game on top, delightfully keeping possession away from the Hazelwick side. The opening goal was scored within 4 minutes from a procession finish from Bradley De Jesus after a flowing move involving Harvey Cosh and Mason Slight.  Moments later Bradley made it 2-0 with an individual goal, working hard to win the ball off the defender and finishing well. Hazelwick’s only chance in the first half was from the penalty spot, which Tommy Harris brilliantly saved down to his left. St Wilfrid’s sealed the first half with a cross from Harvey Cosh reaching Bradley who secured his hat-trick with a left footed finish.

Hazelwick improved their levels in the second half and were rewarded with a consolation. Akhil Patel topped off the win with a deflected finish after working hard to close down Hazelwick’s keeper.

Final Score:  Hazelwick 1 – 4 St Wilfrids
